Newsletter No 14

Dear Parents

Thank you for the fantastic support for Sports Relief, so far we have raised £537! We were so proud of the children; they showed real enthusiasm and determination! Please send any remaining sponsor money in by Friday, if possible. Thank you.

Head Lice
Please, please check your child’s hair for head lice. One infected head can soon infect a whole class.

Sandals
If you are buying sandals for your child this Easter, please make sure they have covered toes. Children who have open toed sandals will not be able to use the Adventure playground or other apparatus. Please remember, no jellies or flip flops. Thank you.

Mrs Huxham

Mrs Huxham visited us yesterday. She will be working alongside Mrs Rockey initially and will take full responsibility for the Otters when Mrs Rockey starts her maternity leave.

School Dinners
May I remind you that the cost of school dinners rises to £1.80 after Easter. Please remember to send in dinner money in a sealed envelope to your child’s teacher on Monday mornings.

End of Term
Friday is the last day of term. School will close at the normal time. Mrs Channon will be starting her maternity leave during the holidays. I am sure you will wish to join with me in wishing Mrs Channon and her husband every best wish for the future! Miss Succony will teach The Bees after Easter. Also, Miss Gerrish is to marry this Easter and will return next term as Mrs Phillips, after marrying in Kenya!
I hope you all have a restful holiday. School re-opens on Monday 16th April.

Best wishes
