Dear Parents, Time seems to be rushing by and the end of term is in sight. Sports Day Sports Day will be next Wednesday at 10am, weather permitting. Please make sure your child has PE kit, a hat and drink in school. The school will be divided into teams; RED, BLUE, GREEN and YELLOW, if possible, we would like your child to wear a coloured T-shirt to represent their team. If your child is unsure which team they are in, please ask their teacher. Year Two Trip – Monday The Year 2 trip is on Monday. If you have not yet paid or booked Free School Meal packed lunch, please do so tomorrow. If your child wishes to, they can remain in school with Yr 1 and Yr R. Art Exhibition The quality of art work was very high at our recent Art Exhibition. Mrs White has asked the organizers to collect the remaining paintings next week and they have kindly agreed. If you thought you’d missed the opportunity, you are very lucky and can see Mrs Mesnard in the office. The pictures are £6 each. Year One Trip You should have received a consent letter home regarding this trip on 9th July. Please search your child’s reading folder if you have not received one. Year Two Please note the date for lunch at Westbury Junior School has changed to Monday 9th July. There will be a leaver’s lunch on Wednesday 18th July (details to follow). The end of term concert will be at 6pm on 19th July. There will be a Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday 18th July at 10am. Further details will follow. New Classes Children will meet their new teachers and visit their new classrooms on Monday 16th July. Sports Road Show On Tuesday 10th July, the whole school will be taking part in a School Road Show. PE kit will be essential! New September Starters If your child (or your friend’s child) is starting with us in September, please could you bring in the forms from the starter pack. Ideally, we would like to receive them on Tuesday 26th or Wednesday 27th June when it is also possible for you to buy/order school uniform. However, if these dates are not convenient, please bring them in as soon as possible. Don’t forget that Induction Day is on Monday 2nd July and you need to let us know whether your child will be attending in the morning (9.30 – 11.30) or the afternoon (1.30 – 3.00). Thank you.
