Year 1 Trip Letter

Dear Parents On Monday 10th December, we would like to take the children on an educational and fun visit to Trowbridge Museum. This will support the work that they will be undertaking on Christmas and the festive season. There will be 3 workshops and a visit to Father Christmas. The school is paying for part of this trip so that as many children as possible can attend, however, we are asking for a contribution from parents of £5.00. We would appreciate it if you could send payment to the office by 6th December 2012 so that we can confirm numbers. If your child is unable to come, they will remain in school with Year 2 on this day. We will be leaving school at 9.40am and returning for 3pm. The children will require a packed lunch on this day. If your child is entitled to a free school meal (and therefore will be provided with a packed lunch) please indicate so on the attached slip below. If you require any further information about the trip, please do not hesitate to come and see your child’s teacher. We are hoping that as many children as possible will be able to take part as we feel that this will be a valuable experience that will undoubtedly support the children’s learning.
