Newsletter No.15 - 12th April 2013

Dear Parents, I hope you had a restful holiday, even though the weather was so cold. Mrs Channon has returned from maternity leave and will be providing PPA cover throughout the school. I hope you will join me in welcoming her back to school. Clubs Mrs Huxham and Miss Succony will continue to run the Library session on Monday for Reception and Wednesday for Year 1 and Year 2. Attendance Recently the Education Welfare Officer visited school. She has highlighted a number of children whose attendance is too low. Low attendance at school affects progress as does lateness. This week 174 hours of learning have been lost through absence, these hours cannot be retrieved. WISH Thank you to all of you who supported the WISH Tombola. WISH will be holding their next meeting on Wednesday 17th April at 2pm in the staff room. Dates for the Term I will send out a list of dates for the term next week. Best wishes Jan Ball Headteacher
