Dear Parents,
It is already nearly half term! School will be closed for the week beginning Monday, 27th May. School will reopen on Monday, 3rd June. Let’s hope the sun shines.
Collections
Please send in any Sainsbury vouchers and any Flora foil lids which can be exchanged for school equipment.
Also, each class is collecting 1p’s to help with their numeracy, if you have any spare coppers lying around please send them in.
School Visits
All of the children have the opportunity to take part in a school visit for £7.
On June 14th Yr 2 are visiting Devizes Lock & Canal Museum
On July 10th Yr 1 are visiting Avon Country Park
On July 10th Yr R are visiting Brokerswood
The school is subsidising all of these trips and is paying for all of the Yr 1 and Yr 2 children to go to Christie Miller Sports Centre and to have a Sports Road Show. Yr R will be having a ‘free’ session at Splodges on Friday.
Breakfast
Sadly some of our children are regularly coming to school without having breakfast. They are unable to concentrate because they are hungry. We can arrange food parcels for those really struggling financially or the Parent Support Advisor (07540 725395) can give advice if it’s a timing issue. Please ensure your child comes to school ready to learn and having eaten.
Sports Clubs

WISH Cake Sale
WISH are holding a Cake Sale after school on Friday. All contributions gratefully received.
Lost Education
302 hours of education were missed last week! This is time that cannot be replaced.
