If you have already signed up to receive newsletters via email and important text messages from us and own a smartphone, there is now an App for that. We are asking Parents to download the new School Gateway Smartphone App which can be found at either the Apple App Store or from the Google Play Store. If you would like to receive newsletters and important information via email or text and have not signed up please come into the office and collect a form.
Avon Valley & Brokerswood
Don’t forget tomorrow Yr 1 is visiting Avon Valley Country Park and Year R, Brokerswood. Don’t forget the sun hats, sun cream, drinks and packed lunch.
Year 2 Lunch at Westbury Junior School
Also don’t forget the Year 2’s have been invited to Westbury Junior School for lunch tomorrow. Those children not transferring to Westbury Junior School will stay here.
Sports Road Show
On Monday we have a Sports Road Show booked. The children will have 3 hours of different activities. It is essential they have a PE KIT IN SCHOOL.
Year 2 End of Term Concert
Next Wednesday the Year 2’s will be performing their end of term concert at 10am. This performance is for those unable to come on Thursday evening. On Thursday July 18th at 6pm there will be a performance for Parents. Owing to fire regulations we are only able to give 3 tickets per family. If you do not require all your tickets please let us know as we always have more people wishing to attend than tickets. Thank you.
Year 1 Garden Party 2pm
Next Wednesday 17th July the Year 1 children will be having a ‘Garden Party’ in the Orchard. We would like to invite Parents and Grandparents to join us. Our chairs are very low so please feel free to bring your own collapsible chair.
Year R Teddy Bears Picnic 2pm
Next Friday 19th July the Reception classes are holding a ‘Teddy Bears Picnic’ in the Orchard. We would like to invite Parents and Grandparents to join us. Our chairs are very low so please feel free to bring your own collapsible chair.
New Classes
On Monday 22nd July the children will visit their new classrooms and teacher.
End of Term
The last day of term is Tuesday July 23rd. Parents of Year 2 are invited to our end of term assembly at 1:30pm; unfortunately we will only have room for adults.
