Newsletter No.5 7th January 2014

Dear Parents, I hope you all had a happy and restful Christmas! Let’s hope the rain stops soon before we all get webbed feet. Mrs Budge Mrs Budge our new Headteacher came to our TD day yesterday. Mrs Budge will be visiting us regularly to get to know our school before she takes up post on April 22nd. I’m sure you will all join with me in welcoming her to Westbury Infants. WISH WISH have bought us new curtains for the hall, which are being fitted as I write. Thank you WISH and thank you for supporting them. There are some tea towels still available from the office, they cost £3 each. MDSA We have a vacancy for an MDSA. If you are interested please collect details from the office. Thank you. Odd Job Person Is anyone interested in 2 hours per week sweeping leaves/collecting litter/trimming shrubs, dealing with small maintenance tasks? This is a term time only post, paid at £6.45 per hour. Ideally we would like someone who would be available to do extra hours, to clear paths and spread grit in the event of snow. Please see Mrs Hedges in the office for an application form. Clubs I will send a separate letter about clubs. Severe Weather If the school needs to close due to severe weather we will try to let you know as soon as possible.
