NEWS
It has been a busy week here, despite the rain and fog. The children are all working hard whilst having lots of fun too. I’ve enjoyed visiting classes this week and finding out what the children are learning. In turn, I am still learning everybody’s name! I’ve had lots of lovely drawings brought to me by the children and have also had the pleasure of seeing some fantastic writing from Swans class.
I am very excited to receive Spring Artwork from every child. I now have the most difficult task of choosing one picture from each class to be framed and hung in my office. Chosen artists will be revealed at assembly on Friday and will be invited for squash and biscuits in my office to celebrate on Tuesday.
Some parents have expressed concerns about cars parked up on the pavements at the beginning and end of the school day, when
parents with young children have been unable to get a pushchair through and have been forced to walk on the road, especially
dangerous for parents with a walking toddler as well as a baby. I do understand that it can be really stressful for everyone trying to get to school on time. Please do think of how you can park safely, allowing everyone to use the pavements.
PE KITS
As we are heading into the summer months the children will be having PE outside more. Can you please ensure
your child has a complete PE Kit in school, a complete PE Kit is a Plain White T Shirt, Black Shorts and Daps. Please ensure all kit fits your child, especially their daps.
