Newsletter No.16 - 23rd May 2014
My first half term at Westbury Infant School is drawing to a close. I have had a wonderful few weeks getting to know the children and finding my way around the school.
It is with sadness I have to tell you that Julie Mason (Deputy Head and our Resource Base Manager) is retiring at the end of the school year in July. Mrs Mason has been with our school for 7 years and has worked tirelessly to ensure that our provision for children with additional needs is exceptional. Her legacy to the school is a full Resource Base with a fantastic reputation spanning the whole of Wiltshire. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs Mason for all her hard work at Westbury Infant School and personally, for all the support she has given me in my first term as Head Teacher. We will all miss her very much.
Mrs Debby Huxham has been appointed as Acting Deputy Head for 12 months - Congratulations!
I hope you enjoy the half term holiday and that the sun shines for all the children. We look forward to welcoming you back to school on Monday 2nd June. Kind Regards Stacey Budge, Headteacher.
