NEWS We have recently had several near misses and accidents due to children riding their scooters and bikes in the playground before and after school, please may we remind you that we ask children to not ride their scooter or bike once they are on school grounds. CLASS VISITS On Wednesday 16th July in the afternoon year 1’s and reception will be visiting their new teachers for the next academic year. Please collect your child from their new classroom. There will be notices on the windows and staff in the playground to direct you to the correct classroom. SCHOOL DINNERS • Outstanding Dinner Money, please ensure all outstanding dinner money is paid before the 24th July. Thank You. • Just a quick reminder that when we come back on the 3rd September 2014 school dinners will be free for all children. When you drop your child off in the mornings you will be asked what option your child will be having from the school menu, please try to make this choice before coming to school. HOURS LOST Last week as a school a total of 288hours were lost through missed education. YEAR 2 END OF YEAR PLAY Year 2 parents please note: • Dress rehearsal is on Wednesday 16th July at 10am, (pre-school siblings invited). • Evening Performance 6pm, Ticket entry only. Please ensure your children are back in school for 5:30pm. SCHOOL READING BOOKS Please remember to return all school reading books back to school before we break up for the summer holiday on Thursday 24th July 2014. WISH CAKE SALE - Thurs 17th July 2014 Please bring your cake donations to school the morning of the cake sale. Weather permitting the cake sale will be held on the school playground. Thank you. NON SCHOOL UNIFORM & WISH DISCO – Tues 22nd July 2014 • Non School Uniform. • WISH will be holding an End of Year Disco on Tuesday 22nd July straight after school, please collect your child from their classroom at 4pm. Tickets will be on sale for £1 on the school playground this Friday 18th and on Monday 21st July. DATES FOR YOUR DIARY • Wed 16th July, 10am - Dress Rehearsal Year 2 End of Year Performance. • Thurs 17th July, 3:05pm Cake Sale – Outside Weather Permitting (if wet - in Hall). • Thurs 17th July, 6pm - Year 2 End of Year Performance – Tickets for this performance will be available soon. • Fri 18th July, Yr R School Trip. • Tues 22nd July, Non School Uniform. • Tues 22nd July, WISH Disco, collect your child at 4pm from their classroom. • Thurs 24th July - Last day of Term.
