Newsletter No.6 - 17th October 2014

CLASSROOM Parents, you are invited to visit your child’s classroom on Tuesday 21st October 2014 from 2:30pm. This is an opportunity to celebrate your child’s achievements and for your child to share with you what they’ve learnt this term. SCHOOL DISCO WISH is having an Autumn Disco on Wednesday 22nd October 2014 straight after school. Please collect your child at 4pm from their classroom. The cost of the disco will be £1 and tickets will be on sale on Monday 20th & Tuesday 21st afterschool under the Pokka (back playground by the Reception Classes). NON SCHOOL UNIFORM We are having a non-school uniform day on Wednesday 22nd October 2014 to coincide with the Disco. RECEPTION CLASSES - PE LESSONS The Reception children will start their PE Lessons after Half Term. We always use the first term to settle them into school life. Please ensure labelled PE Kits are in school. CAR PARK Please DO NOT walk through the Car Park to get to the mobile classrooms. We have had a couple of instances where children have nearly been hit by a car! SMOKING Please remember Westbury Infant School is a Non-Smoking School. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on school grounds and surrounding boundary. We especially ask that you do not smoke by the entrance gates. Thank you.
