I would just like to congratulate and say how proud I am of our Pupils, Teaching Assistants and Teachers at Westbury Infants. They have all worked extremely hard over the past few weeks to produce such lovely Christmas Shows. Next week is our last week before we break up for Christmas; we have lots of fun things planned for the children. • WISH END OF TERM DISCO & NON SCHOOL UNIFORM DAY Tuesday 16th December 2014 3.05 – 4pm Entrance to the disco is £2 per child and to be paid to the school office. Please collect children at 4pm from their classrooms. • PARKING It appears that a few parents are continuing to use the drive and youth centre car park at the start and end of the school day. As a safety precaution to our Pupils and the Public, PLEASE DO NOT USE THE DRIVE or YOUTH CENTRE CAR PARK between 8:30 – 9:30am & 2:30 – 3:45pm. (Only Staff Cars and Resource Base Parents are allowed access during this time). • WISH CHRISTMAS RAFFLE & COFFEE MORNING WISH is holding a Christmas Raffle during their Coffee Morning on Monday 15th December 2014, from 9am – 10am. If you have any unwanted gifts that would make suitable raffle prizes please donate them to the school before Monday 15th December. • CHRISTMAS TREE Would anyone like the real Christmas Tree that is in the School Reception area? It will be available for collection on the last day of term. Please speak to the office to register your interest; a lucky winner will be drawn from the hat. • DOG FAECES We have had a couple of incidents reported to us where children have stepped in dog mess on the paths surrounding the outside of the school. Please remember that dogs are not permitted on school property, this includes puppies! • HEALTH TRAINER FOR ADULTS Wiltshire Council has a designated Health Trainer that can assist you in different ways. Please read the flyer overleaf for further information. • SICKNESS & DIARRHOEA If your child has the sickness and diarrhoea bug please remember our policy of staying at home for 48 HOURS after their last episode. This period is in place to try and combat the spread of sickness and diarrhoea throughout the school. • THE WESTBURY AREA SCHOOLS PARTNERSHIP FACEBOOK PAGE – SCHOOL EVENTS The Westbury Area Schools Partnership now has a facebook page that lists all the events that are happening in all the schools in Westbury.
